Want to make a direct impact in your community? Become a CASA volunteer.

CASA volunteers advocate for children experiencing foster care, ensuring their needs are understood and their voices are heard in court, school, and beyond. With just a few hours a week, you can help change the trajectory of a child’s life.

We’re currently recruiting for our next training class — and we’d love to have you join us. Visit www.dekalbcasa.org to learn more and register for our next Information Sessions or send us a message to get started.

Happy National Streaming Day! 🎬💻

Streaming makes it easier than ever to learn, recharge, and explore new perspectives — and today is the perfect reminder to take advantage of it.

CASA and Education Advocate volunteers can earn 2 hours of Continuing Education by streaming a film, documentary, or series related to foster care, trauma, child development, or anything that supports your advocacy work.

It’s also a great opportunity for self‑care: settle in with something meaningful, reflect, and refuel.

Whether you choose a documentary about the child welfare system, a movie that deepens your understanding of trauma, or a story that inspires empathy and resilience, your learning makes a difference for the children you serve.

💙 Stream with purpose today — and don’t forget to log your CE hours! Reach out to [email protected] if you have questions.
