⚠ DeKalb Commuters: Plan ahead and stay alert!

🚧 TRAFFIC ALERT FOR DEKALB COMMUTERS 🚧

Starting today, June 4, a major traffic pattern change will take effect at the I-20/I-285 East Interchange.

If you are traveling westbound on I-20 and plan to continue onto I-285 Northbound or Southbound, you will need to move into the designated access lanes approximately 2 miles before the interchange.

This new traffic configuration is designed to improve safety, reduce congestion, and create a smoother commute through one of metro Atlanta’s busiest corridors.

⚠️ Drivers should plan ahead, watch for new signs and lane markings, and be aware that some GPS and navigation apps may take time to reflect the updated traffic pattern.

Give yourself extra time, stay alert, and be prepared for a different commute.
