Spotted in the park- Carolina climbing milkweed. Isn’t she a beaut?!!

Have you noticed the brown slopes and bottomland in Dearborn Park recently? We’ve had a few neighbors reach out to ask if this is our work. It is not. The has contracted out work with Cascade Springs Forestry and they are targeting invasive plants in the park. This habitat restoration & forest management work will be done in phases and we’re hopeful to have a healthy & balanced ecosystem soon.

This amazing crew cleared wisteria at the park’s trailhead on Sunday. Thanks, volunteers!
