The 192 solar panels will allow the synagogue to get a substantial portion of its power from renewable energy!

The system is expected to reduce The Temple's power bill by up to 11% per year.

Georgians are saying no to data centers! GIPL staff has been at meetings and town halls throughout the state where residents share their concerns about data centers moving into their communities, including town halls in Blakely and Albany, pictured here.

This community action comes on the heels of a Georgia Public Service Commission decision to investigate whether Georgia Power's industrial customers, like data centers, are shifting some of their costs to residential customers.

We're excited to see more and more Georgians showing up for their communities and the environment! We are stronger together.

We're excited to be hosting a variety of workshops at our Coastal Summit on Aug. 15, including one on "Protecting Georgia's Waters through Advocacy and Action," led by Ogeechee Riverkeeper Legal Director, Ben Kirsch.

In this workshop, we will explore some of the most pressing water challenges facing our state, including threats to the Georgia coast, the priority issues of the Georgia Water Coalition, and the rapidly expanding water and energy demands of data centers.
