πŸ’™ Vulvar Cancer Awareness: Listen to Your Body πŸ’™

Vulvar cancer is rare, but it is realβ€”and knowing the signs could save your life.

Many women dismiss symptoms because they feel embarrassing or assume they're "normal." They aren't.

⚠️ Know the warning signs:
β€’ Persistent itching that won't go away
β€’ A lump, bump, or sore on the v***a
β€’ Changes in skin color or texture
β€’ Pain, tenderness, or burning
β€’ Bleeding or discharge not related to your period
β€’ A sore that doesn't heal

If you've noticed any of these symptoms for more than 2 weeks, don't wait. Schedule an appointment with your healthcare provider. Early detection can make a significant difference in treatment and outcomes.

There is no shame in talking about your body. Your health matters, and you deserve to be heard.

πŸ’™ Share this post to help raise awareness. You never know who may need this reminder today.

πŸ’™ Volunteers Needed! πŸ’™

Join GYN Cancers Alliance on Wednesday, July 15th as we come together to assemble Gynecologic Symptom Satchels that will be distributed throughout our 36-county service area in Southwest Missouri.

These satchels provide young women with valuable educational resources that can help raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of gynecologic cancers. Every bag you help pack has the potential to make a life-changing difference.

πŸ’™ Cervical Cancer Awareness πŸ’™

Knowledge is power, and awareness can save lives.

Regular Pap tests and HPV testing can help detect changes early, when treatment is most effective. Trust us.... we know pap smears can be awkward but this test is a must for younger girls to establish their "normal".

Everyone's body is different, and regular cervical cancer screenings help healthcare providers understand what is normal for you. Establishing your baseline can make it easier to identify changes that may need further attention in the future.

Cervical cancer is one of the most preventable cancers through regular screening and HPV vaccination. Yet thousands of women are diagnosed each year, often with little or no symptoms in the early stages.

Know the signs and symptoms:
βœ”οΈ Abnormal vaginal bleeding
βœ”οΈ Unusual vaginal discharge
βœ”οΈ Pelvic pain
βœ”οΈ Pain during in*******se
βœ”οΈ Changes in bladder or bowel habits
βœ”οΈ Unexplained weight loss

Talk with your healthcare provider about:
πŸ’™ Cervical cancer screening
πŸ’™ HPV testing
πŸ’™ HPV vaccination
πŸ’™ Any symptoms that concern you

Early detection saves lives. Share this message to help raise awareness and encourage the women you love to stay up to date on their screenings.
