me. consists of two cage-free adoption centers which house our adoptable animals, who are waiting for homes (1328A-B W. This center is open to the public Thursday-Saturday from 10am to 4pm. also has a sanctuary located near Aurora MO. This is where we treat incoming animals in our clinic, and house our special needs animals, or those that may need a longer rehabilitation time before being placed for adoption. Often these animals were rescued from terrible situations and require a little TLC before they become ready to go to a family. We also care for our more unusual rescues there, such as goats, pigs, iguanas, ducks, horses and more animals that need the open space the sanctuary provides. relies solely on the kindness and donations of the public to care for our animals. We are not city or state funded and all donations are tax deductible. All of our pets are spayed or neutered before being put up for adoption. We support early-age spay/neuter programs for shelters. Spaying/neutering prior to adoption is the only way to guarantee that none of our shelter animals will contribute to the pet overpopulation problem. We also employ an application process that helps us better match pets and people. Prospective adopters are carefully screened to ensure that we find the best fit possible for the animal, based on the needs and personality of each individual dog or cat. does not accept in animals from the public.
