If an injector says they haven’t made mistake, red flag🚩

Injecting is not an exact science; nothing involving humans is

While they may be inevitable, how they’re handled speaks volumes

An ethical provider will explain what likely went wrong and do their best to rectify it

But a cavalier attitude is dangerous and denies an opportunity for learning

Let’s all remain humble as we continue to advance our field and keep patient safety at the forefront of our minds

PS: IMO, mistakes happen less the more experienced a provider becomes
