Pooler Fire-Rescue

Accident notification:

This afternoon (June 23, 2026) Pooler Fire-Rescue firefighters were dispatched to Tanger Outlets Boulevard for an accident with injuries. Truck 601 was in the area and arrived on scene shortly after dispatch to find a two vehicle accident, with one occupant still in one of the vehicles. To free the occupant in the vehicle, Truck 601 had to spread the vehicles apart, where the door was then able to be opened and the occupant received care. Engine 602 and Battalion 601 arrived on scene to assist, and Engine 601 was returned to service.
