In 1996, a group of parents and their special education teacher started Have Dreams — serving 7 children above an ice rink in Park Ridge.

Thirty years later, Have Dreams has grown into an organization serving 700 individuals in the autism community this year alone, from after-school social skills groups, adult workforce training, mental health counseling, to professional trainings and beyond.

This October, we're celebrating three decades of growth, community and dreams at Decades of Dreams, our 30th Anniversary benefit.

Here’s your chance to see the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field on Tuesday,
September 15 th at 6:40pm as they host the Atlanta Braves.

Intakes for our Fall session of the Have Dreams Academy are happenings now!

Have Dreams Academy (HDA) is a workforce training program for neurodivergent young adults. Through our autism-specific curriculum, combined with a hands-on internship, each participant will build the soft skills needed to prepare them for work in the competitive job market. Our team is focused on helping each participant develop, understand and implement crucial social skills during their internship. The goal for each intern is to gain confidence and develop transferable soft skills needed to be successful in any competitive work environment.
