Georgetown to fully transition from CARTS paratransit service to rideGTX program in September Georgetown will replace its CARTS paratransit service with rideGTX, using Uber and zTrip for accessible transport and raising costs amid operational changes.

For 25 years, Faith in Action Georgetown volunteers have helped seniors stay connected, not only to appointments and errands but also to the people, places, and experiences that bring joy to everyday life.

Our volunteer drivers know that every ride is about more than getting from one place to another. It’s about conversation, encouragement, independence, and connection.

We’re grateful for every volunteer who has been part of this journey and helped create 25 years of caring connections.
