Celebrating 100 years of Sir David Attenborough β€” broadcaster, natural historian, writer, and lifelong champion of nature, exploration, and curiosity. 🌍⚜️

Many people don’t realise that Sir David was a Cub Scout, Scout, and later a Senior Scout in his youth. Those early adventures in Scouting helped nurture the curiosity, resilience, and love of the natural world that would inspire generations throughout his remarkable life and career.

Reflecting on his time in Scouting, Sir David once said:

β€œI remember my time as a Wolf Cub very well indeed. We learned a lot of useful things and had a great deal of fun. I hope you all do too.”

Through Scouting, young people continue to experience adventure, friendship, learning, and discovery firsthand β€” building confidence and a lifelong respect for the world around them.

Thank you, Sir David, for a century of inspiration and for encouraging generations to explore, discover, and protect our planet. Happy 100th Birthday! 🌱

Pack 134 brought the heat at this year’s Pinewood Derby! From sleek speedsters to creative masterpieces, our Cub Scouts truly outdid themselves.

While the racing was fast, the real highlights were the incredible craftsmanship and sportsmanship on display. Whether a car was built for speed or style, every Scout should be proud of their hard work and dedication.

A massive thank you to the parents, volunteers, and pit crew. Your support makes this event a community favorite every year!

A huge thank you to our Camping Coordinator and the rest of the Pack Leadership for the seamless organization. Planning a trip with ferries, campsites, and scouting logistics is no small featβ€”we appreciate everything you do to make these adventures possible for the scouts! ⚜️
