What a fantastic night at Fernbank After Dark! 🌉✨

Our crew brought the fun to the Under Construction event with a bridge-building challenge and a mesmerizing oobleck and sound frequencies demo. By the end of the night, the line to test bridges stretched across the room!

We love opportunities to share what Decatur Makers is all about. It looks like our bridge to the community just got a little stronger. 💙

LEGO Robotics officially took off this spring 🤖🚀

Thank you to for a generous grant that helped us invest in LEGO Robotics sets and launch FIRST LEGO League at Decatur Makers!

Your support brought hands-on STEM learning to life for our first teams—and we’re just getting started. Fall registration is now open!

Another Dare to Repair with our besties at is in the history books! 🔧♻️

Clothes, clocks, yard tools, ghosts (yes, ghosts 👻), and so much more—all fixed up, ready for more adventures, and nowhere near the landfill.

A huge thank you to our amazing volunteers and everyone who brought something in to repair. You all make this more than a fix-it night; it’s one of our favorite community hangouts. There are always great conversations, lots of learning, and the satisfaction of keeping perfectly good things in use a little longer.

We love this event so much that we’re expanding it in 2026. Stay tuned—we can’t wait to share what’s coming next!
