The Decatur Chamber of Commerce is collecting donations to create 65 welcome bags for the new DISD & VCA teachers and staff as they prepare for the new school year.

We're accepting donations of:

📒 Notepads
🎁 Gift cards
🖍️ Highlighters & markers
🍿 Snacks
🎉 Promotional items
…and anything else you think would brighten a teacher's day!

We're cutting not one, but TWO ribbons this Friday, July 10, and we'd love for you to celebrate with us!

Help us celebrate their ribbon cutting as they showcase their brand-new car bays and officially welcome the chamber community!

🦒 5:30 PM – Giraffe Inn & Safari
Celebrate their official ribbon cutting and stick around as The Watering Hole Restaurant officially opens! Enjoy live music, a full menu, meet the animals (including Juji, Sampson, and Sugar the mini highland cow), and take photos with some amazing wildlife.

🚗 Don't forget! 1st Choice Truck L**e's celebration continues on Saturday, July 11, from 10:00 AM–2:00 PM at their Grand Opening Party, featuring a Car Show, free food, giveaways, and fun for the whole family. Bring your favorite ride and help them celebrate this exciting milestone!
