Better access to healthcare begins with adequate resources, skilled professionals, and partnerships that strengthen care where it is needed most.
MedShare was pleased to welcome a delegation from Gabon led by Dr. Jean Claude Nzamba, representing Dr. Chrisse Ngari, Member of the Board of Directors of the Fondation Ma Bannière, in connection with the First Lady of Gabon’s health and social initiatives. The visit aimed to explore opportunities to improve maternal, neonatal, and general healthcare services.
Our discussions focused on donations of medical equipment and supplies, as well as biomedical training. MedShare’s two-week biomedical training program provides students and healthcare professionals with hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repairing medical equipment. This initiative helps strengthen local technical expertise while ensuring that essential medical equipment remains operational and continues to serve patients.
We look forward to exploring how this collaboration can empower healthcare professionals to deliver better care to mothers, newborns, and communities throughout Gabon.
