Good morning and Happy Thursday!

Today is regular outside chore day. Coffee breaks. Homeschooling. Going to my in laws to get the rails for Jacks bed. He’s getting his big boy bed set up asap. Here’s to hoping that he’ll sleep in his own bed instead of coming into ours in the middle of the night.

It’s crazy at just how different our boys are. Jamie slept in his crib until he was 4. He never got out of it, even though he could. He didn’t want a big boy bed. I had to bribe him with Blaze and the Monster Machines blankets. He has never slept in our bed.

Jack is crazy. 🤪 Started climbing out of his crib at about a year and a half. Wakes up in the middle of the night and comes into our bed. I’ve tried to rock him back to sleep and sneak him into his crib. 9 times out of 10, doesn’t work. He has a noise maker. He has blankets. He has a stuffy that he gives no 💩’s about. This is pretty much the last trick up our sleeves. 😂
Maybe the new blankets with trains on them will keep him happy enough to sleep there all night long. 🤞🏼

BTW, Jack is obsessed with trains.🚂

I made the chickies a little snacky snack for later!

Pumpkin seeds
Chia seeds
Oatmeal
Eggshells
Hot pepper flakes
Cayenne pepper
Dehydrated jalapeños
Bacon grease
Tallow

I try to make this every once in a while as a treat for the chickens. I mix it all up and press it into the pan, pop it into the fridge for awhile and then take it out to them. They love it.

It’s another spicy day here in Texas. High of 95 by 2 pm. Real feel right now is 89. Summer is here and she’s perimenopausal….🤣😂
