October 27 is Blind Service Chicago’s Vision Expo! join Second Sense and dozens of other vendors, along with informative speakers from the blind and visually impaired community. Patrice Johnson from the Assistive Resources and Talking Book Center at Harold Washington Library shares what is new at the library. Elizabeth Campos from the Illinois Treasurer’s Office provides everything you need to know about ABLE savings accounts. Dr. Janice Winters from the Illinois College of Optometry talks about strategies to support independence with vision loss, including assistive technology. BSC’s Vision Expo takes place at Venue West, 221 N. Paulina, Chicago from 9-3. Refreshments served! See you there!
