For over 30 years the organization advocates for a world where humans treat animals with respect, empathy and understanding. From bears and big cats, orangutans and elephants, cows and pigs, to cats and dogs, our sustainable campaigns and projects focus on improving the lives of animals! We have:

As a cub, Tyson was cruelly torn from his mother and spent 16 years trapped in a filthy cage at a remote hunting station in western Ukraine, where he was likely used illegally as bait. 💔
Then, in October 2017, Tyson’s second chance finally arrived. After tireless negotiations, our team rescued Tyson and brought him our safe haven of BEAR SANCTUARY Domazhyr in Ukraine.
Today, Tyson is thriving. He’s healthy, happy, and living the peaceful life he always deserved, side by side with his best friend, Mashutka. 🐻
Now, summer days look very different for Tyson, spent lounging beneath the trees and splashing happily in his pool.
🍏 He’s got a great appetite and a love for peanuts, tomatoes, and apples- simple joys that mean everything after years of hardship.
