Port Fourchon in south Louisiana is a shipping gateway for the oil and gas industries in our state. To add larger ships to its capacity, they needed to expand one of their ports to create the necessary clearance and create opportunities for greater economic development. To accommodate the larger physical footprint, Dynamic drove nearly 600 pre-cast concrete piles with an aggregate limestone surface to provide long-term strength, stability, and erosion resistance.
