Mwana Trust Director Attends ECOZI Provincial Chapter Meeting in Manicaland*

The Director of Mwana-Child's Hope Zimbabwe attended the Provincial Chapter Meeting of the Education Coalition of Zimbabwe (ECOZI), held on 22 April 2026 at the ZIMTA offices. The meeting brought together ECOZI provincial members, NGO representatives, teacher unions, the Zimbabwe Teachers Association, a representative from the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education, and the Progressive Teachers Union of Zimbabwe (PTUZ).

The meeting focused on updating members on first quarter 2026 activities, planning for the Global Action Week for Education (GAWE), and preparations for the opening of schools for the second term. A key issue discussed at length was the alarming rise in drug and substance abuse in schools, with stakeholders calling for stronger collaboration and urgent action to protect learners.

MasterPeace Zimbabwe – Building Peace in Our Schools and Communities

Yesterday, we visited Rock of Ages High School, where our Young Ambassadors Club engaged in a powerful session on peace. We discussed the causes of conflict, ways to manage it, and how we can create safe, bullying-free environments in schools and communities.

Together, we can inspire a generation that chooses peace.
