With a voice that touches your soul, mesmerizing dance moves, and the ability to create enchanting mbira voice melodies, Tinotenda, also known as Save Masiziba, adds a magical touch to our band.

Born on July 11, 1998, Tinotenda is the firstborn in a family of two, hailing from the vibrant city of Mutare. Her journey in the world of performing arts began at Baring Primary School, where she immersed herself in the art of traditional dance from grades 5 to 7. Not only did she excel in dance, but she also showcased her skills on the hockey field, proving her versatility and determination.

Continuing her education at Sakubva High School from 2012 to 2015, Tinotenda successfully completed her O Levels, laying a strong foundation for her future endeavors. In 2016, she pursued her passion for tourism and hospitality by enrolling at Mutare Polytechnic Institute, where she obtained a national certificate in the field. Her dedication to learning and acquiring new skills is truly inspiring.

In 2019, Tinotenda embarked on a different path, taking on a role as a waitress at Club 263 in Mutare. This experience not only sharpened her social skills but also allowed her to connect with a diverse range of individuals, further enriching her artistic perspective.

Tinotenda's musical journey has deep roots in her Christian upbringing. Growing up in a home where their mother served as a choir master, she was exposed to the power of music from an early age. Joining the United Methodist Church choir, Tinotenda discovered her love for singing, turning it into more than just a hobby—it became a source of joy and self-expression.

But Tinotenda's talents don't stop at singing. She is also a remarkable backing vocalist, a captivating dancer, and a skilled player of the hosho, adding rhythm and percussion to Deze RaWasu performances. Tinotenda's ability to seamlessly blend her talents and contribute to the band's vibrant energy is truly remarkable.

Sociable and teachable, Tinotenda brings a warm and welcoming presence to our band, fostering collaboration and creating a positive atmosphere. With her dazzling performances and infectious enthusiasm, she leaves the audiences captivated and wanting more.
