Metro Speed Security tip of the week

Make use of electronic applications such as the Panic button emergency locator which can be used in case of emergency to discretely broadcast your location and a message to your contact list of emails or SMS. The app will discreetly send an sos to your contacts immediately when you feel unsafe.

Metro Speed Security tip of the week

Be aware of your surroundings, when in crowded places be very aware of your pockets and handbags as pickpockets tend to operate more in places with crowds where it is less likely for you to feel them take any of your valuables. End of year holidays are just around the corner and holiday related crimes can be a setback to the season. Be very ALERT.

Metro speed security tip of the week

Avoid hitch hiking and try as much as possible to board transport from designated places. ALWAYS board transport that is branded and is familiar to you.
In cases when you use unfamiliar transport try to take down the number plate as well as a clear picture of the vehicle without being noticed by those inside and send this information to someone in case something happens. DO make it a point to share this information with school children so that they too are safe when traveling to and from school.
