The Wife of Minister of State for Provincial for Provincial Affairs and Devolution, Matabeleland North Province Mrs S Moyo led a clean-up campaign at Benice Business Centre,Umguza District under the Zero Tolerance to Waste Movement. The Clean-up was joined by the Permanent Secretary for State Affairs and Devolution Ms S N Ncube and other stakeholders.

This initiative strengthens the vision of the First Lady and Patron of the Environment, Amai Dr Auxilia Mnangagwa, inspiring communities, traditional leaders, and the business sector to embrace the Zero Waste Movement. By reducing, reusing, recycling, and supporting clean‑up campaigns daily, we can achieve a cleaner, greener Zimbabwe.

Collective responsibility is the path to Vision 2030 and to building a legacy of environmental stewardship for generations to come. Today's Clean-up emphasised the need to instil the culture of cleanliness in our children. The Guest of Honour urged parents that training our children to make up their beds, clean their rooms and the home is not cruelty, instead, it is teaching them responsibility. A child who cleans will be very alert to where they put thier waste.
