Community dialogues

The programme aims to increase knowledge and utilisation of integrated HIV prevention, SRHR and GBV services. This is promoted through community interventions that include community dialogues. Community Dialogues are among the interventions identified to strengthen community systems and increase uptake of SRHR, HIV and AIDS and SGBV services by communities, including key populations i.e. s*x workers and people living with disability as well as community leaders. The PCC Programme

The programme seeks to spearhead and support the s*xual and reproductive health status for adolescents. it also seeks to address challenges that many parents face in discussing with young people about relationships development and s*x. The package therefore equips parents and adolescents with adequate information and the much needed tools to engage in dialogue and communication issues around (SRHR). It also empowers parents on how to encourage and support their adolescents in accessing s*xual and reproductive health rights (SRHR) services. The clinical adolescent and youth friendly s*xual and reproductive health service include but not limited to: HTS, VMMC, family planning with a focus on contraceptives and condoms, STI screening, SGBV, PMTCT and ANC

The Spotlight initiative is a global comprehensive joint programme with United Nations, European Union and selected host governments that came together to end all forms of gender based violence (GBV). Not only that but also to put an end to harmful practices (HPs) such as “Chinamwari” girl’s initiation, Vuzu party or “pasa-pasa”, “Nyau Dance”, arranged marriages, male dominance in Zimbabwe to mention just but a few. This initiative promotes the s*xual and reproductive health rights of women and young girls.
