Menstrual Hygiene Day 2026 🌸
For many girls and women in rural communities, managing a period is not simply a matter of choice it is a matter of access.
While menstruation is a natural part of life, the lack of affordable sanitary products, clean water, safe sanitation facilities and accurate information continues to create barriers to education, health, dignity and opportunity.
At Ongaeshi, we believe that no girl should miss school, feel ashamed or be held back because of her period. Menstrual health is not a luxury it is a matter of dignity, equality and opportunity.
This Menstrual Hygiene Day, we stand with girls and women in underserved communities and renew our commitment to breaking barriers, promoting menstrual health education and advocating for access to essential menstrual hygiene products.
End stigma. Period.

At Ongaeshi, we believe every child carries potential that deserves to be nurtured, protected, and celebrated. Behind every school uniform is a future doctor, teacher, farmer, engineer, artist, leader or change maker waiting for a chance to shine.
To all learners stepping into this new term:
May you walk into your classrooms with confidence.
May you find strength in difficult subjects, courage in uncertain moments, and joy in every small achievement.
