26 July is CFHD Day. This year is super special as we celebrate 30 years of Promoting Inclusive Local Governance and Social Accountability for Inclusive Service Delivery in Zimbabwe. For 30 years since 1995, CFHD has been at the forefront of empowering communities, enhancing local governance processes and strengthening human-centred policies for sustainable human settlement and energy transition in the context of climate change and the environment. Supported by 30 years, we believe CFHD is becoming a leading authority in shaping stronger local authorities that value citizen participation, transparency, accountability and are committed to gender-sensitive service delivery to meet national, regional and international standards.
