With Kariba currently only 17% full, a good rain season upstream Zambezi was really important. Well it looks like these prayers have been answered. The water levels at Chavuma (above the currently flooded Barotse plains) are at a record high level. This water will flow straight down the river, over Vic Falls and into Kariba.
