🎵 Specialist Spotlight: Meet Mr Muteta 🎵
This week we're shining the spotlight on our talented Music Teacher, Mr Muteta, who has been part of the Twin Rivers family since 2007.

When asked why he chose music, Mr Muteta's answer was simple: "Music chose me." Although he originally thought he would become a visual artist, his passion for music started at a young age and has shaped his journey ever since.
Mr Muteta is an incredibly skilled musician and can play and teach a wide variety of instruments, including piano, marimba, hosho, congas, ngoma, mbira, violin, guitar, recorder and drum set, to name just a few!

We also asked him which instrument he wishes every child could learn. His response? "If they can play their mind well, they will be set." A reminder that music is about much more than mastering an instrument—it's about creativity, discipline, confidence and self-expression.
Thank you, Mr Muteta, for sharing your love of music and inspiring our learners every day! 🎶

✨ Meet the Teacher ✨
Today we are shining the spotlight on one of the very first teachers our little Twin Rivers learners meet as they begin their school journey — Mrs Raybould.
Since joining the Twin Rivers family in 2007, Mrs Raybould has helped guide countless children through those important first years of learning, growth, and discovery.
When asked what her favourite part of Grade 0 is, she shared:
“Grade 0 is awesome because we get to play, explore and discover while the children are still wide-eyed and full of wonder. Children come to you so small and with few skills and leave you reading, writing and communicating confidently… skills they will use forever!”
For Mrs Raybould, teaching has always been more than just a profession.
“I was made to be a teacher… (and a mother) nothing else!”
And for parents whose little ones may be nervous about starting school, her advice is simple but meaningful:
“Believe in your child, communicate with your teacher and remember learning is a journey, not a destination.”
Thank you, Mrs Raybould, for the patience, kindness, and encouragement you give to every child who walks into your classroom. 💙
