Last week, the Redan head office team traded their desks for a day of sweat, laughter, ice, and a whole lot of self-care — all in the name of wellness.

Hosted by the incredible team at Sweat Nation, our Wellness Day was built around a Survivor theme, with teams going head-to-head in physical challenges and a wellness quiz that proved we know our stuff (mostly).

For the brave souls who dared, the morning closed out with a 2-minute ice bath. Cold, humbling, and oddly satisfying.

Then came the good stuff , a well-earned lunch catered by the Golden Conifer, drinks from The Mixologist, and some genuinely powerful conversations.

Our Head of HR, Gabriel Mashanda, who is a certified counsellor, opened up an honest and warm discussion on mental wellness. Dr. Lucy Chitewe, neuropsychologist, then shared practical wisdom on keeping our brains performing at their best. And together, the group swapped their best Survivor tactics for navigating work-life balance in the real world.

It was one of those days that reminds you that a team that looks after itself, looks after each other.

10 Years of Redan Coupon — and What a Journey It’s Been!

When Redan Coupon (Private) Limited opened its doors in 2016, we were a small, focused team with a single mission: to bring Zimbabweans reliable, trusted fuel solutions. Today, we pause to celebrate a decade of doing exactly that, and so much more.

Our story didn’t begin in 2016 though. It stretches back to 2001, when Redan Petroleum (Private) Limited first served the nation during some of Zimbabwe’s most challenging times. When fuel was scarce and uncertainty was high, the Redan Coupon became the standard for reliability, and that reputation has never wavered.

Names may have evolved over the years, but the heart of Redan has always stayed constant , a steadfast commitment to keeping Zimbabwe moving, reliably and innovatively.

Over time, Redan Coupons became more than just a fueling solution, they became a household staple, a trusted gift, and a much loved part of everyday Zimbabwean life. From birthday presents to staff benefits, the Redan Coupon found its way into homes, offices and hearts across the country, standing as a symbol of reliability that Zimbabweans could always count on.

Building on these strong foundations, the Redan Black Card, launched in 2013, brought added security and convenience to volume-based fueling and quickly became the preferred fuel wallet for organisations across the country. This year we went a step further with the launch of RedanFlexi, Zimbabwe’s first digital fuel coupon, cementing our place as the pace-setter in innovative fueling solutions.

What started with a team of fewer than 10 has grown into a family of close to 1,000 people, serving customers across 80 service stations nationwide, with a bulk fuel supply operation that keeps companies, corporates and organisations across Zimbabwe moving.

As we mark 10 years as Redan Coupon (Private) Limited, we honour every team member, every customer, and every partner who has walked this road with us, from our roots some 25 years ago to where we proudly stand today. Your trust is the foundation of everything we have built.
