‘Most people guard against going into the fire, and so end up in it.’

- what my interpretation of this is

People, myself included, tend to find themselves in some form of comfortable uncomfort, what I mean by this is getting stuck in the same routine daily that doesn’t challenge you, doesn’t force you to think on your toes, it doesn’t light you soul on fire.
Sitting at a desk everyday doing the same monotonous task just to look forward to two days at the end of the week, only to repeat that cycle for the rest of your life because… it’s easy, why SHOULD you take risks? That daily monotonous task pays the bills, it’s guaranteed income, it’s comfortable uncomfort.
BUT, what I hope people start realizing is how much more they can be if they take the risk, step out of your comfort zone, and ignite your INTERNAL FIRE!

No matter what, you cannot and will not get to buy your time back, so why not put your time towards creating something that people will remember you by, or something that brings you internal joy and happiness.
It’s easier said than done, but better a life of happy risks than one of unhappy comfort.
