1️⃣𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗱𝗶𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗹 𝗶𝗻𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀:
-when the DPF begins to clog,the ECU(Engine Control Unit) initiates FREQUENT regeneration cycles,which DUMP EXTRA DIESEL through the injectors to burn off soot.
-this leads to over-fueling,damaging the injectors PREMATURELY.
NB: 𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗣𝗙, 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲'𝘀 𝗡𝗢 𝗡𝗘𝗘𝗗 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗦𝗘 𝗥𝗘𝗚𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗖𝗬𝗖𝗟𝗘𝗦, 𝘀𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗢𝗥𝗠𝗔𝗟 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗗𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗟𝗔𝗦𝗧 𝗟𝗢𝗡𝗚𝗘𝗥😃.
2️⃣𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗯𝗼𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗿:
-a clogged DPF increases BACKPRESSURE in the exhaust.
-high backpressure FORCES hot exhaust gases BACK TOWARD the TURBO.This:
1)raises the turbine temperatures.
2)stresses turbine bearings and seals.
3)eventually results in turbocharger failure and costly replacements.
NB : 𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗣𝗙 𝗗𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗧𝗘𝗗,𝗲𝘅𝗵𝗮𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗴𝗮𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘𝗟𝗬,𝗿𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗠𝗔𝗟 𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗦 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗯𝗼𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗿.
3️⃣𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗵𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴:

4️⃣𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗖𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗨𝗥𝗘:
-excessive backpressure from a blocked DPF can cause loss of power,high exhaust gas temperatures,OIL CONTAMINATION,and stress on PISTONS/VALVES.
-over time, this leads to CATASTROPHIC FAILURE(engine CEASURE).
