FREIGHT AND LOGISTICS SALES EXECUTIVE

A local leading logistics company which is a licensee of an International Courier Company and has been offering courier, freight, and customs clearance services to the Zimbabwean and International Market for over 24 years, is looking for a result- driven Freight and Logistics Sales Executive to join our team in Harare.

Responsibilities
Reporting to the Managing Director, this position will be responsible for developing and implementation of freight and logistics sale initiatives to ensure that the Company taps into the far eastern and Chinese market segments through performing the following functions:

•Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers.
•Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs.
•Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
•Reach out to customer leads through cold calling.
•Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
•Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
•Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments.
•Analyse the territory/market' s potential, track sales and status reports.
•Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
•Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends.

Required Qualifications
•Minimum 4 years working experience in the Airfreight, Sea- Freight and Warehousing Established network in Air- Freight and Sea- Freight in China
•Fluent in Mandarin and English
•Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales.
•Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills.
•Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills.
•Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs.
•Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
•Clean class 4 driver's licence.
•A logistics degree will be an added advantage.

Note: An attractive remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate together with use of a Company vehicle.

Diesel Plant Fitter - Rusape

Major Responsibilities
•To repair & maintain Council plant
•To prepare planned maintenance materials schedules & costs
•To safeguard workshop equipment & tools
•To perform any other duties assigned by Management from time to time

Qualifications
•National Certificate in Diesel Plant Fitting from a recognized institute
•Higher qualification is an added advantage
•Skilled Worker Class One Certificate is a must
Min of 2 years post qualification experience is a must
•5 O’Level including Mathematics & English is a must
•Computer literacy is an added advantage
•Clean class (2) driver’s licence is a must
