On November 23rd, 2024, we had a thought-provoking session on Climate Justice, facilitated by Moto Republik and The Feed ZW (Magamba Network). We explored the far-reaching impacts of climate change, from individual to national, regional, and global levels.

In Zimbabwe, we're experiencing severe heat-related illnesses, mental health issues, and a devastating water crisis. Globally, the excessive use of fossil fuels is significantly contributing to climate change. It's time to acknowledge the harm caused by these fuels.

In Africa, we're often told to exploit our vast mineral resources, but this approach is destroying our planet. We must prioritize sustainability and environmental protection. It's crucial that we shift our focus from quantity to quality.

It's time to end fossil fuel dependency and transition to renewable energy sources. Fossil fuel companies, like Total Energies, must invest in green fuels. Every small action counts in the pursuit of climate justice.

Let's work together to create a sustainable future. We're grateful to the facilitators for this enlightening session.

It was a day filled with joy and adventure. We enjoyed boat cruises, quad biking, ziplining, horse riding, chess, and 30-second games.Beyond the excitement, these activities fostered essential skills like teamwork, communication, and problem-solving, forging unbreakable bonds among our members.
