SAD NEWS: Veteran Actress Memory Bususu Dies.
Zimbabwe is mourning the death of veteran actress Memory Bususu, a gifted and versatile performer known for her roles in some of the countryโs most loved television dramas, including Parafin, Pfuma Ye Nhaka, and Ngozi.
Bususu began her acting career in the early 1970s in Highfields, Harare, where she featured in commercial productions by Canaan Patterson. Her early work laid the foundation for a distinguished career that would see her become one of Zimbabweโs respected figures in the film and television industry.
She passed away on Monday, 12 April, following a period of illness.
According to family sources, Bususu will be laid to rest in Buhera on Tuesday, 14 April.
Her death has been met with an outpouring of grief across the arts sector, with many remembering her contribution to Zimbabwean storytelling and cultural expression.
She is survived by family, friends, and a legacy that continues to inspire generations of artists.

Ronald Mujuru Receives Support After Tragic Loss
Businessman and philanthropist Wicknell Chivhayo has donated a brand-new Toyota Fortuner and US$50,000 in cash to Ronald Mujuru, who recently lost his wife and five children in a tragic road traffic accident.
The heartbreaking incident claimed six lives from the Mujuru family, leaving Mujuru facing the unimaginable loss of his entire immediate family. Chivhayo said the gesture was a token of compassion in line with the African tradition of โkupa chema,โ meant to support Mujuru during this difficult time.
The act of generosity has been widely praised by many Zimbabweans as a show of Ubuntu and solidarity in the face of tragedy.
