I hope I find you well. For those who have not dealt with us before who are willing to purchase their vehicles. The process goes like this. Firstly we pay for the vehicle then after payment we apply for duty & pay duty. Every vehicle that comes into Zim nowadays is pre-cleared, which means it can only pass through the border after duty has been paid. so this means we pay for the vehicle (buying price and duty) for the vehicle to be able to come from SA to Zimbabwe. In terms of payment (buying price) there are two ways which are convenient

1. The client come this side(Beitbridge) we go together to the garages and select any vehicle of their choice and pay.

2. The client can pay in Harare.

In terms of duty payment you can pay anywhere in Zimbabwe at the bank which means there is no need to carry all the funds to Beitbridge. However, we advice clients to use CBZ because it reflects instantly. U deposit direct into ZIMRA account

In addition all Hybrid vehicles, Panel van vehicles, trucks, single cab pays duty in RTGS and all vehicles with an engine capacity of 1.5l or below pays (half usd and half RTGS). all other vehicles which have not been mentioned pays duty in USD.
