Dear Madam Veep,
The citizens of Zambia are upset about the current electricity situation, particularly in areas where people rely on power for their livelihoods, such as barber shops, salons, and welding businesses. We understand that there are various reasons behind the power shortage, but 2 hours of power is insufficient, especially for those who cannot afford solar alternatives. This statement has not been well received by the public.
We respectfully request that you reconsider or withdraw this statement. If you are not familiar with the struggles of ordinary Zambians, Madam Veep, such statements may harm your party's reputation.
