Our construction management team attained completion of backfilling and compaction operations to the Substructure of this beautiful 3 bedroom residential building.The works have been executed in strict compliance with project specifications.

𝐒𝐜𝐨𝐩𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬 𝐄𝐱𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐝
✓Importation and placement of approved selected granular backfill materials (gravel) to foundation trenches and around construction plinth walls.
✓Introduction of moisture into the backfill
✓Backfilling undertaken in uniform 150mm compacted layers using a mechanical plate compactor to achieve optimum moisture content and density.
✓Compaction of the backfill to formation level for ground floor slab construction.
✓Disposal of surplus excavated materials off the site.
All activities were executed under a full time Engineering supervision to ensure the provision of stable,uniformly compacted sub-base with minimal risk of post construction settlement.

Following successful completion of backfilling and compaction,the works are programmed to proceed with plastering of the foundation box ,Damp proof membrane (dpm) installation,steel reinforcement fixing and casting of slabs .

Our project management team has attained practical completion of the substructure phase for this double storey church building, executed strictly in accordance with approved structural engineering drawings,project specifications and other statutory requirements.

𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬 𝐄𝐱𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐔𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧
✓Site clearance and precise setting out of plinth foundation positions.
✓Bulk excavation for Isolated pad footings to design formation levels.
✓Fabrication and placement of reinforcement followed by casting of reinforced concrete pad footings.
✓Construction of reinforced concrete columns stubs with starter bars to the ground floor slab level.

With the Substructure phase now concluded ,the works are programmed to advance to ground floor slab construction and subsequent superstructure er****on.
