CNA members participated in the Children’s Climate Summit alongside fellow children from different organizations and districts across Zambia. The summit provided an important platform for children to raise their voices on climate change and contribute to conversations on protecting their future.

A major highlight of the summit was the formation of the Zambia Children Climate Council, a significant step towards strengthening child participation in climate governance and advocacy.

We are proud to share that Ashley, a CNA member, was elected as President of the Council, alongside 3 other CNA members who were elected to serve on the committee. 👏🏾🇿🇲

This achievement reflects the power of meaningful child participation and the growing leadership of children in shaping climate action in Zambia.

Congratulations to all the children who participated and made their voices heard!

Members of the Children’s News Agency under the Media Network on Children’s Rights and Development are participating in a Basic Eye Care Training organized by Orbis Zambia

The training is equipping CNA members with knowledge on eye health, common eye conditions in children, and the importance of early care. The information gained will empower them to raise awareness and advocate for better eye care for children in their communities and through the media.

Healthy vision supports learning, development, and a brighter future for every child.
