In 2018, she played a role in a multichoice local production Television drama series called "City on fire" which aired on Zambezi magic channel 162 on the DSTV platform. She played a role in the series for 13 episodes which aired on ''Zambezi Magic'' and ''One Zed'' on DSTV. Hellena is also known for playing a role as "Penelope" in a feature Movie, "Payback" which was produced by Wyclif Mwamba Productions. Hellena also features in music videos for artists. Her recent appearance was in music videos of Macky 2 and Cleo Ice. She has won two awards which are, Best supporting actress and best actress mwansabombwe festivals all under the Zambia National Art's Council. She was also nominated for best actress for Zambia national arts council Ngoma awards in 2017. Hellena who is a Journalist by profession is known for her role in the Zambezi Magic television primetime Drama series, Mpali. She currently plays role of a dramatic second wife to first child of ''Nguzu'' who is the main character in the local production series.
