The Socialist Party President, Dr. Fred M'membe, has warned Zambians against voting for Brian Mundubile and Maccabi Zulu.

According to him, Zambians need to carefully assess these individuals based on how they managed public resources while they were in government.

He argues that people should not make the mistake of believing they have changed. In his view, they are the same leaders whom Zambians voted out of power because of poor governance. Why, then, should the people entrust them with leadership again? Voting for them, would be like jumping from the frying pan into the fire.

My question, however, is this... Is Dr. M'membe saying these things out of genuine concern, or out of political convenience, considering that not too long ago he was in an alliance with these very individuals? What was his assessment of them when he chose to work alongside them?🤔

You see, he too, cannot be trusted. He comes across as a political opportunist who is willing to align himself with anyone if it increases his chances of becoming President, even if that means working with individuals he now portrays as symbols of bad governance.

Leaders should be judged by what they say today, and also by the choices they made yesterday. If I were to call it out as it is, he honestly is a huge hypocrite .

Now Miles Sampa is set to endorse President Hakainde Hichilema today after the courts ruled that he was validly elected PF President. The same man he accused of using Robert Chabinga to destroy PF after he got dribbled by his own scholar.

This is Zambian politics. No permanent enemies, no permanent friends.

I can guess the next move will be for Miles Sampa and Chabs International to reconcile and withdraw all the cases they have in the courts. I see Sampa becoming the PF President, Chabs International as his Vice President, and Mr. Ngo'na as the SG, back to the way they were before they started fighting, but this time working under the UPND alliance.
