Statement released by Mr. Moses Shouti, CEO of Forum for Peace and Human Rights, has commended Mr. Hakainde Hichilema, President of Zambia, and the UPND government through Hon. Councillor for Kanyama Ward 13, Hon. Leonard Chello, for the progress made in the area. In a statement, Mr. Shouti highlighted the completion and ongoing construction of gravel roads in Kanyama by the Zambia National Service (ZNS) through the office of the Vice President.
On behalf of the residents of Kanyama Ward 13, Mr. Shouti has expressed support for Hon. Leonard Chello to be adopted as the area's Member of Parliament, following the approval of Bill 7 by the President.
