Murdered nurse sent distress call

A SISTER of the nursing student who was found dead in a lodge in Kitwe over the weekend has revealed that she received two distress messages from the late suggesting that she had been poisoned.

A 29-year-old nursing student, Eunice Namuchimba, was found dead around midday on Saturday in a lodge in Kitwe’s second class trading area.

Eunice, a student in Ndola, was discovered dead in a room at Sato Lodge having checked in with a man believed to be of Tanzanian origin on Friday afternoon.

She was discovered by workers at the lodge who peeped through the window to check if anyone was in the room after several knocks on the door went unanswered.
