The organization works to promote youth leadership, life skills development, and improved access to Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) information and services.

Position Summary
Liseli Initiative is seeking a passionate, youthful, and enthusiastic individual to serve as a Youth Development / SRHR Coordinator. The successful candidate will lead and coordinate youth-focused programs, particularly those related to Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR). The Coordinator will work closely with young people, community leaders, schools, and partners to implement youth development initiatives, life skills programs, and SRHR awareness activities.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and implement youth development and SRHR programs in target communities.
- Facilitate youth engagement platforms such as youth clubs, dialogues, and mentorship programs.
- Deliver training sessions on SRHR, life skills, gender equality, and youth leadership.
- Support the establishment and strengthening of youth groups and safe spaces.
- Work with schools, community leaders, and health facilities to improve youth access to SRHR information and services.
- Monitor program activities and document results, success stories, and lessons learned.
- Support development of program reports and contribute to organizational learning.
- Ensure meaningful participation of young people in program design and implementation.

Qualifications and Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Social Work, Public Health, Development Studies, Youth Development, Community Development, or any related field.
- At least 2 years of experience working in youth development, SRHR programs, or community-based projects.
- Knowledge of youth engagement approaches and SRHR programming.
- Experience facilitating trainings or community dialogues with young people.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with communities, schools, and youth groups.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

We spotlight Daniel Siame a professional pianist at Mukwa River Lodge and a passionate advocate for music and youth development.

Daniel runs the Mukwa School of Music and Arts, an initiative dedicated to discovering and nurturing musically talented children and young people in Simoonga Village and surrounding communities. Through this platform, he helps young people develop their musical gifts and confidence.
He also conducts music classes in the Linda community, creating opportunities for children and youth to explore their creativity and build valuable skills through music. 🎹

Beyond music, Daniel is also an entrepreneur. He runs Lighthouse Barbershop, a barbershop and salon business in Mulala, demonstrating the power of combining talent, passion, and entrepreneurship.
