Subject: Request for Street Lights at Shimabala Market

Dear Sir/Madam,

I write as a concerned citizen regarding the state of Shimabala Market, which continues to operate without proper street lighting. The absence of adequate lighting poses security risks for traders and customers, especially during evening hours, and hinders smooth trading activities.

We are aware that Kafue Town Council has recently received a consignment of street lights. In light of this, I respectfully request that at least four (4) poles be allocated to Shimabala Market. This will greatly enhance security, promote business operations, and contribute to the well-being of the community.

Your favourable consideration of this request will demonstrate the Council’s commitment to equitable development and the upliftment of all communities under its jurisdiction.
