FAZ Central Province chairperson Chisanga P**e regrets to inform the public about the fatal accident that claimed the life of FAZ Central Province Division Two Zone 'B' Kabwe Rangers Football Club driver of a hired bus, Sam Lungu. Three football players, club secretary, and coach were injured in an accident that happened yesterday, Sunday, March 15, 2026. The injured players were Christopher Musakanya, Given Sichamba, John Kombe, coach Lewis Nkandu, and secretary Karen Namukoko. Kabwe Rangers had traveled to Serenje for a week 25 fixture against Silverlands. Mr. P**e, accompanied by General Secretary Maxwell Shaba, rushed to the scene of the accident and Kapiri Mposhi District hospital to check on the accident victims. He has sent a message of condolences to the family of Mr. Lungu and wished them God's strength and a quick recovery to the injured players, coach, and club secretary. Details regarding the cause of the accident will be issued by the Police.
