🎤 THE POWER OF WAITING

You see me apo I was waiting for my fellow journalists to take a picture with President Hakainde Hichilema so that I can have my turn as well. In that moment, standing aside and watching others step forward, I was reminded that sometimes all you can do is wait. Not because you are not ready, not because you are not capable, but simply because it is not yet your turn.

Waiting is often uncomfortable. In a fast-moving world where everyone wants to be first, to be seen and to be heard, patience can feel like being left behind. But there is strength in allowing others to go ahead of you. There is maturity in understanding that opportunity does not disappear just because you paused. Instead, it often becomes more meaningful when it finally comes.

The power of waiting is knowing that your moment will arrive. It teaches humility, builds character and prepares you for what you have been hoping for. When my turn eventually came, it was not rushed or forced. It was simply right on time.
