This morning, we featured on SmoothFm 90.1 discussing Digital spaces, Online scams, and the risks of human trafficking linked to online platforms.
We emphasized the need for increased awareness on digital hygiene, digital rights, and online safety, especially for young people who are often targeted through fake job offers, scholarships, or online relationships. As Financial Literacy Month comes to an end, we reflect on the importance of equipping communities with the knowledge and tools to manage and protect their finances both online and offline.
Last year, we had the privilege of working with women in Mtaya community, supporting savings groups involved in village banking (chilimba) with practical digital safety skills. These sessions focused on helping participants safeguard their money online while building confidence in using digital platforms. We also introduced simple tools to strengthen transparency and accountability within their groups.
This year, we aim to go even further, reaching more communities and creating more impactful conversations like these.
Watch, listen, and be inspired.

Isaac, through his poem challenged perspectives, sparked reflection, and inspired everyone in the room with his spoken word. This was more than just a performance, it was the power of youth expression, storytelling, and speaking truth through art.
Now it’s your turn to experience it,
