"These are the words..." – Deuteronomy 1:1

As Israel stood at the edge of the Jordan River, Moses reminded them of Yahweh's faithfulness throughout their wilderness journey. Their past was filled with victories, failures, lessons, miracles, and growth, yet Yahweh had never abandoned them.

This week, Devarim reminds us that our words carry great power. The generation that entered the wilderness spoke fear and unbelief, but the generation entering the Promised Land was called to speak faith, remembrance, and covenant truth.

Perhaps you have walked through difficult seasons, unexpected challenges, or long journeys. Remember this: the wilderness is not your destination. Yahweh is still leading, still teaching, and still fulfilling His promises.

May we choose words that bring life, hope, faith, and blessing. May our mouths agree with Yahweh's promises and not our fears. As we prepare to cross into new seasons, let us remember all He has done and trust Him for all that lies ahead.

"The words we speak will be powerful and life in our journeys."
