VUT Convocation

A CALL FOR NOMINATION
In terms of the Statute of the Vaal University of Technology (VUT) gazette on 3 April 2013. Members of the Convocation of the VUT are invited to nominate the following oce bearers:
a) President of the Convocation
b) Deputy- President of the Convocation
c) An additional member who must be a full time academic sta member of the
Vaal University of Technology
d) Any other additional member
The oce bearers mentioned above will also service on the Executive Committee of the Convocation as per the Statutes.
The Convocation comprises of:
• All VUT graduates;
• All full-time Academic employees;
• All former retired academic employees.
• A nomination for President may not be an employee of the VUT.
• Nominators and nominees must be members of the Convocation as defined in
the Statute of the VUT.
• Please note that persons owing fees to the University will be disqualified as
nominees.
• Nomination forms can be requested from the Convocation Relations
Administrator or download from the VUT Website: www.vut.ac.za
