The Rewilding

“The way the the moon rose over the sea last night is still on my mind today. I don’t think I’ll ever forget it. Any photo would have been an insult to it. The May Blue Moon. It illuminated everything like a warm inviting beacon of love. It was spectacular. Its light formed a path across the surface of the sea that made it soft, golden-hued, as if to whisper to me and me alone, ‘you have followed this far? Will you continue without knowing the ending?’ It was as if I had become Dorothy, and the universe was inviting me to follow the yellow brick road of my destiny…”

I will never forget the way that moon looked. How it glowed. What I felt.

And I still don’t know what the journey holds, not all of it is easy, but who wants easy anyway? That’s boring. Give me adventure, excitement, and everything else this winding road of life has carried me towards.

I took a bit of a breather. Saw some friends. Finished fieldwork. It was time. I needed it. There’s been a lot going on in my world (I’ll share more of that this coming week). Needed to take care of me a bit, so I can be my best for all of you. 💚

Running and running and running usually means you get nowhere in the end because you run out of gas.

Looking forward to coming home. Ci vediamo presto 🇮🇹 ❤️✨
