Dear client.
STAR TECH GROUP forms part of the Essential Services in the Disaster Management Act, 2002 as a telecommunication infrastructure and services company. We therefore will remain dedicated to provide support and carry out supply, critical repairs and service as well as telecommunications (Internet, Phones, Email) during the lockdown period. The purpose is to support residents and businesses who need to work from home and communicate with family.
In order to prevent/stop the spread of the COVID-19, our offices will be closed from Thursday 26th March, 16:30 PM until Friday 17th April, 08:00 AM.
Our technical support team will be available throughout the nationwide lockdown 24/7.
We have ensured that all of our staff is equipped with the necessary tools and skills in order to provide you with any support that might be required.
Technical support will be provided via TeamViewer, while onsite support will be limited to Critical support, Maintenance/Troubleshooting and critical issues.
TeamViewer:
In order for us to assist you sufficiently and efficiently, please read through the following instructions to enable us to remotely login:
• Download TeamViewer Remote Support from: https://get.teamviewer.com/starquick or https://get.teamviewer.com/startechhost
• Once completed, please run the file.
• Select the following options:
o Default installation
o Personal/Non-commercial
• Click accept and finish.
• Once TeamViewer has been downloaded and installed a window should appear which will provide you with your computer ID and password.
• Please provide this information to the technician.
Orders will only be processed after April 16th and quotes will be unavailable for the time period.
